“California Cityscapes”

Arts Visalia

Major Open Fine Art Show (30 points)

Receiving February 25th ~ 10 am to 11:30 am

Artist Reception March 2nd 6pm to 8pm.

See attached prospectus for details.

Greetings!

As you know, receiving for the “California Cityscapes” is on February 25th.  Prospectus is attached.  When the idea was brought to the Board to have a theme, I did have some visions of what I thought our talented group could provide based on individual styles that have been evident for some time.  I envisioned artists putting their own “spin” on a city and pinned it down to any California City.  Now whatever part of that city you want to create is up to you, the artist, yea-the one with the artistic license!!!!  It doesn’t have to look like any particular city.  This is supposed to be a challenge.  But since you are the artist, you can enter whatever you desire.  Have fun!!!!
