James is an award winning landscape and seascape artist. He is a signature member of the Alliance of Califonria Artists. Jim's work has been displayed at the Fresno Museum of Art, Sorenson's Studio, Fresno City Hall, Krazan's and Allards. He has won a number of ribbons at the Big Fresno Fair, North Fork, and ACA shows. Him is self-taught. He has been painting for eight years and enjoying his retirement from The Fresno Bee as a reporter and night editor.
Jim's favorite subject are scenes from the Sierras and ocean views at the Central Coast. His work is created from his fantastic memory and his love of the West Coast.
